The Lilypad

Tucked among the rainforest in Far North Queensland, our two adjoining creekside cabins offer a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. 
Each cabin sleeps up to 6 guests (4 adults, 2 children) though they are most comfortable for 4. Inside, you’ll find a cosy queen bedroom with a futon lounge, plus an adjoining room with a double bunk bed. Warm timber interiors and soft natural light create a relaxed forest cabin atmosphere
that feels instantly welcoming.
 

With the sitting and dining area set outdoors on the veranda overlooking beautiful Mount Haren Creek, guests can truly immerse themselves in the beauty and sounds of the rainforest. Spend your mornings listening
to birdsong with a coffee in hand, watch rainforest lizards sun themselves
in the trees, and unwind in the evenings to the chorus of cicadas and frogs. 
 

Connected by a private door along the veranda, The Lilypads offer the option to accommodate larger families or groups. Each cabin includes a full kitchenette for easy, comfortable stays. As with any forest setting,
you will encounter the occasional insect and other native wildlife which
is all part of the charm of staying so closely connected to nature.

The Tree House

Each of our charming, open-air treehouses is designed for slow and easy tropical living. Our open-plan, breezy layout connects you directly to the surrounding rainforest and water views. Rather than enclosed spaces, you will enjoy fresh air, natural sounds, and an immersive tropical experience.

A cosy mezzanine level features a queen bed, where you can drift off to the sounds of the forest and wake gently to birdsong. Downstairs, a light-filled living space includes a kitchenette along with a futon.

Step out onto your private deck and unwind in the outdoor shower or soak in the bathtub overlooking the billabong.
 

While we are right by the water, mosquitoes are surprisingly minimal here but as with any natural setting, you may encounter the occasional insect.

**Please note that this cabin is NOT suitable for small children or people with mobility issues as the staircase to the mezzanine level is steep**

Due to our secluded rainforest location, Wi-Fi and mobile reception is limited inside The Treehouses. The best area to check messages or connect online is on the deck. There are also areas just a short walk from the cabins where both Wi-Fi and phone reception are generally more reliable. Many guests find it the perfect opportunity to slow down, switch off and fully enjoy the peace and tranquility. 

The Sun Suite

Quiet, private, and full of character, The Sun Suite is made for those who want to switch off, reconnect, and experience the magic of the rainforest in comfort.

Hidden away, the Sun Suite is your own little slice of tropical magic. It’s quirky, it’s cosy, it’s completely your own.

Step inside and you’re greeted by colour, character, and a whole lot of personality. Think cosy corners, leafy pot plants everywhere, stylish kitchenette, comfy living space, and a dreamy bedroom with an ensuite.

Your private deck is the space to enjoy your morning coffee, sunset wines or long lazy lunches all while being serenaded by a chorus of tropical birdlife. It also features an outdoor bath where you can literally soak it all in.

Surrounded by lush greenery and bright tropical flowers, the private garden area has a firepit (firewood included) for those cosy evenings under the stars. As the sun sets, this is the perfect place to slow down and listen to the sounds of the wild. Keep an eye out for visiting bandicoots, wandering lizards, and enjoy the ever-changing chorus of the cicadas, frogs and nocturnal birds.

The Pandanus

Perched high above beautiful Mount Haren Creek, this rainforest cabin is definitely one of a kind. Surrounded by nature and filled with personality, The Pandanus combines gorgeous creek views with bold design, vibrant colours, and playful details that make every corner feel special.

Warm, creative, and completely unique, the space has been thoughtfully designed to feel both cosy and inspiring.

The cabin features one room with a queen bed and another room with a double bunk bed. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower and toilet for added comfort and convenience.

The huge deck is the true highlight of the cabin. Overlooking the creek, it offers plenty of space to relax, dine, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Unwind in the large outdoor bath with stunning creek views, enjoy slow mornings at the breakfast bar, or gather around the fire pit on those cool winter evenings.

Complete with a full kitchenette and generous outdoor living spaces, this cabin is perfect for guests wanting to disconnect, recharge, and experience the magic of the rainforest in a setting that is truly unforgettable.
